Acceptance
Using this site means you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, stop using the site. These terms apply to every visitor equally, including people who arrive from a search result and never see the front page.
What the site provides
BidBass publishes descriptive listings for software releases. A listing is an informational page. It describes what a program does, what a particular build contains, what the machine needs, and how installation is normally carried out. Nothing on this site is a warranty that any described build will work on your hardware or is suitable for your purpose.
Your responsibilities
- You are responsible for the legality of what you do in your own jurisdiction. Licensing rules for commercial software differ between countries and between products, and it is your obligation to know which apply to you.
- You are responsible for your own machine. Follow the installation steps as written and keep backups of anything you cannot afford to lose.
- You must not use this site to distribute anything harmful, to attack the site or its infrastructure, or to scrape it at a rate that degrades it for other people.
- You must not represent yourself as connected to this site, or republish its listings as your own.
Accuracy of listings
Listings are written from an actual installation and are accurate to the best of our knowledge at the time of writing. Software changes, and a listing that was correct last month may describe a build that has since been superseded. Report anything that is wrong through the contact page and it will be corrected.
Version numbers, file sizes and system requirements are taken from the package and the vendor documentation respectively. Where a vendor requirement is unrealistic in practice, the listing says so rather than repeating it.
Third party names
Product names, company names and version designations that appear on this site belong to their respective owners and are used for identification only. Their appearance here does not imply any relationship, endorsement or authorisation.
Limitation of liability
This site is provided as it is. To the fullest extent permitted by law, no liability is accepted for any loss or damage arising from use of the site or from anything described on it, including data loss, hardware problems, lost work or business interruption.
Availability
No guarantee is made about uptime, continued availability of any listing, or continued operation of the site. Listings may be removed at any time without notice, including in response to a rights holder complaint.
Changes
These terms may change. The current version is always the one published on this page, and continued use of the site after a change means you accept the revised terms.
