About this release
Overview
This is a trimmed build of the graphics suite that keeps the two applications people spend their day in, the vector illustration program and the raster photo editor, and drops the content libraries, extra utilities and language packs that make the full installer enormous. The drawing engine is unchanged. Bezier tools, node editing, shape building, envelope and blend effects, contours, transparencies and the whole colour management path work exactly as they do in the complete suite.
The practical benefit is footprint and speed. The full suite install runs into several gigabytes with content and takes a noticeable while to open on a mechanical drive or a modest laptop. This build installs in a fraction of that and starts quickly, which matters when the machine is a shop counter workstation, an older laptop used on site, or a virtual machine where disk is rationed. File compatibility is identical, so a document made here opens in the full suite and vice versa.
What is missing is content rather than capability: the bundled clipart and photo libraries, the extended font collection, the font manager, the tracing utility and the screen capture tool are all absent. If your work depends on the shipped template and clipart libraries, you want the full suite. If you draw your own artwork and open files that clients send, this build does everything you need without the bulk.

Colour management and print output
Spot colours, CMYK separation with real ICC profiles, overprint preview, bleed setup and press-ready PDF export with the same controls as the full package.
Multi-page documents
Page layout with master pages, facing pages and per-page sizes for brochures, menus and multi-part artwork inside a single document.
Broad file compatibility
Opens and writes the suite's native format plus AI, PDF, SVG, EPS, DXF, DWG, PSD and the common raster formats, so client files come in without a conversion step.
Fast startup on modest hardware
Content libraries and the font indexing pass are absent, so the applications open in seconds rather than tens of seconds on a mechanical drive.

Installation
Follow these in order
- Disconnect from the network before running setup.
- Extract the archive to any folder with a few gigabytes free.
- Pause real time protection until installation completes.
- Run setup as administrator and pick your interface language.
- Close the installer at the end rather than launching from it.
- Open the drawing application once to confirm activation, then restore protection.
Release notes
From whoever packed it
- Clipart, template, font and photo libraries are not included. This is a deliberate part of the trimmed build.
- The font manager, tracing utility and capture tool from the full suite are absent.
- Documents are fully interchangeable with the complete suite in both directions.

Answered before you ask
- Can I add the content libraries later?
- Not into this build. If you need them, install the full suite instead.
- Is the drawing engine cut down?
- No. Every drawing, effect and colour tool is present. Only bundled content and side utilities were removed.
- Will it run on an old laptop?
- That is the point of this build. Four gigabytes of memory and an integrated adapter are enough for ordinary work.
