Any Video Downloader Pro

Version 10.4.11 · Any-Video-Downloader · Windows 7 / 8 / 10 / 11 (64-bit) · ranked #213 in the library

Paste a link and it pulls the video down in whatever quality the source actually offers, splitting the stream into parallel chunks so a long clip lands in a fraction of the time a browser save would take.

About this release

Overview

This is a link driven downloader for video hosts and streaming pages. You give it an address, it resolves the available renditions, and you pick the resolution, container and audio track you want before it starts. The speed advantage comes from opening several connections against the same file and reassembling the parts at the end, the same technique a general purpose download accelerator uses, applied to segmented video streams that a browser fetches one piece at a time.

Beyond single links it handles whole playlists and channel listings, queues them, and works through the queue with a configurable connection limit so you do not saturate the line. A clipboard monitor picks up addresses as you copy them and offers to add them without switching windows, and a browser integration adds a download control to pages it recognises. Downloads can be scheduled to run overnight and the machine told to shut down when the queue empties.

Conversion sits on the end of the pipeline. Anything downloaded can be remuxed or re-encoded to MP4, MKV, AVI, MOV or an audio only file, with device presets for phones, tablets and televisions. Subtitle tracks are pulled alongside the video where the source exposes them and can be embedded or written as separate files, and metadata such as title and duration is written into the container so a media library reads it correctly.

What it does

Feature breakdown

Multi-connection segmented downloading

Splits each file across several parallel connections and reassembles them, which is where the speed multiplier over a plain browser save comes from.

Quality and format selection before download

See every rendition the source offers, from low bitrate versions up to the highest available, and choose the container and audio track rather than accepting a default.

Playlist and batch queue

Feed it a playlist or a list of links and it queues everything, with a per-queue connection cap and automatic retry on interrupted transfers.

Clipboard monitor and browser integration

Copied addresses are detected and offered as downloads, and a control appears on recognised pages so you never have to hunt for the underlying file.

Built in conversion and audio extraction

Convert finished downloads to common containers or strip the audio to MP3, M4A or WAV, with device presets that set sensible resolution and bitrate.

Scheduling and post-queue actions

Run the queue at a set time, limit bandwidth during working hours, and shut down, sleep or simply close the program when the last item finishes.

Changed in this build

Version 10.4.11

  • Extractor rules updated for several hosts that changed their stream manifests recently.
  • Subtitle download now handles multiple language tracks in one pass rather than one at a time.
  • Queue panel redesigned with per-item speed graphs and a compact mode.
  • Reduced memory use when a queue holds more than five hundred items.
  • Fixed a case where a resumed download could produce a file with a broken index.

Installation

Follow these in order

  1. Extract the archive to a temporary folder.
  2. Disable real time protection before running setup, the activation step is flagged by most engines.
  3. Run the installer as administrator and choose your language.
  4. Do not launch the program from the final installer screen. Close it instead.
  5. Apply the included activation, then start the program and confirm the title bar shows the full edition.
  6. Set your default download folder and connection count in settings, then restore protection.
Expect a detection. Anything that changes how a program checks its licence is classified as a risk tool by every scanning engine, which is why the steps ask you to pause protection. If that is not something you want to do, this is not the right download for you.

Release notes

From whoever packed it

  • Set the connection count to something sensible for your line. Twelve or sixteen is usually the point of diminishing returns.
  • The updater is disabled in this build. Leave it that way, an update replaces the patched executable.
  • Conversion uses a bundled encoder. No separate codec pack is needed.

System requirements

Minimum and recommended

Operating systemWindows 7 through Windows 11, 64-bit recommended
ProcessorDual core or better, quad core if you plan to convert after downloading
Memory2 GB minimum, 4 GB for large queues
GraphicsNo requirement, hardware encoding used for conversion where available
Storage300 MB for the program plus room for whatever you download

Questions about this release

Answered before you ask

Does it download whole playlists?
Yes, paste the playlist address and every entry is queued with the quality preset you chose.
Can it grab audio only?
Yes. Pick an audio format at the selection stage and it never downloads the video track at all.
Why is a site suddenly failing?
Hosts change their stream layout regularly. The extractor rules in this build are current as of the release, but an older build against a changed site will fail.
