About this release
Overview
Filmora sits between the toy editors and the professional suites. The timeline is real, with multiple video and audio tracks, keyframing on every transform property, masking, blending modes and speed control, but the interface never asks you to understand a codec or a colour space before you can cut two clips together. For tutorials, family video, product clips and channel content, that trade is the right one.
The bundled library is a genuine part of the value. Animated titles, transitions, filters, overlays, sound effects and royalty free music are all installed rather than streamed, so a video can be assembled without hunting for assets. Templates cover intros, outros, lower thirds and split screen layouts, and each one remains editable once placed rather than being a locked black box.
It also covers the automation people actually want: silence detection to strip dead air, auto reframe to convert a landscape edit to vertical, speech to text captioning, background removal without a green screen, and audio ducking that drops the music under dialogue automatically. This build is activated with no watermark applied to exports.
What it does
Feature breakdown
Multi-track timeline with keyframes
Video and audio tracks with per-property keyframing, masking, blend modes, and a preview that stays responsive on modest hardware.
Installed effects and title library
Transitions, animated titles, filters, overlays, stickers, sound effects and music, all local rather than downloaded on demand.
Auto reframe and aspect conversion
Convert a horizontal edit to vertical or square with subject tracking so the important part of frame stays in shot.
Silence detection and audio ducking
Strip dead air from a long take automatically, and drop the music bed under speech without keyframing it by hand.
Speech to text captions
Generate a caption track from the dialogue, edit the text, and style the whole track in one action.
Screen recording and voiceover
Record the screen, the webcam and a microphone from inside the application and drop the results straight onto the timeline.

Questions about this release
Answered before you ask
- Is the export watermarked?
- No. Exports from this build are clean.
- Does the stock asset library work offline?
- The bundled library does. Anything from the online store does not.
- Can it handle 4K?
- Yes, though playback on a modest machine benefits from setting the preview quality down.
