Wondershare UniConverter
Version 17.4.7.651 · Wondershare Technology · Windows 10 / 11 (64-bit) · ranked #76 in the library
A toolbox that treats video conversion as the centre and then piles on the jobs that surround it, compressing, trimming, recording, ripping and burning, so the whole set of small media chores lives in one window.
Read the installation section below before you start. The order of the steps matters on this release.
About this release
Overview
UniConverter started as a format converter and grew into a general media toolbox. At its core it takes a file in almost any format and writes it out in almost any other, with device presets so a clip meant for a phone, a console or a television comes out sized and encoded correctly. Hardware acceleration means a batch of conversions finishes in a fraction of the time a software only encoder would take, which matters when there is a folder of them rather than one.
Around the converter sits everything else people reach for occasionally and do not want to install a separate tool for. A compressor that brings a large file down to a target size with a live preview of the quality trade, a trimmer and merger for quick edits without opening an editor, a screen and webcam recorder, a disc ripper and burner, a subtitle tool, and a batch of small utilities for things like removing a watermark or fixing metadata. None of them is as deep as a dedicated application, but having them together is the point.
This build is activated with no watermark on the output and no trial limit on file length or batch size. The bundled presets and the conversion engine all work offline, and the only thing that needs a connection is the optional media download feature. It installs as a normal application and does not run anything in the background.
What it does
Feature breakdown
Broad format conversion
Convert between almost any video and audio formats, with device presets that size and encode correctly for the target.
Hardware accelerated batches
Convert a whole folder at once using the GPU, finishing far faster than a software only encoder.
Compression to a target size
Bring a large file down to a chosen size with a live preview of the quality trade-off.
Trim, merge and record
Quick edits without a full editor, plus screen and webcam recording, all in the same window.
Rip and burn discs
Read a disc to a file and write a project back to a disc, with menu templates for the burn.
Small utility set
Subtitle handling, metadata fixing and a handful of one job tools bundled alongside the converter.

- Several interface translations refreshed.
Installation
Follow these in order
- Uninstall any older UniConverter build and delete its leftover folder.
- Go offline.
- Extract the archive.
- Disable real time protection.
- Run the installer, then apply the included activation step before first launch.
- Open the application, convert a short clip to confirm no watermark, then re-enable protection.
Release notes
From whoever packed it
- Block the application in your firewall so an online check does not revert it to trial mode.
- The output carries no watermark in this build.
- Hardware acceleration depends on the GPU. If a batch is slow, confirm the encoder is enabled in settings.

Questions about this release
Answered before you ask
- Is the output watermarked?
- No, exports from this build are clean.
- Does it use the GPU?
- Yes, hardware acceleration is used for conversion where the card supports it, which speeds batches considerably.
- Can it compress to a specific file size?
- Yes, set a target size and it shows a preview of the resulting quality before you commit.
