Microsoft Office 365 ProPlus
Version 3.3.16 · Microsoft Corporation · Windows 10 / 11 (64-bit) · ranked #65 in the library
A small deployment tool that pulls the current click to run office build straight from the source and installs it clean, so you get the same applications a subscription installs without the applications ever asking for one.
Read the installation section below before you start. The order of the steps matters on this release.
About this release
Overview
This is a lightweight installer rather than a full offline package. It uses the official click to run delivery mechanism to download the current professional office applications directly from source, which means the build is always current and the download is only as large as the applications you choose. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access, Publisher and OneNote all install from it, and the whole selection is made in the installer before anything is pulled down.
The advantage of installing this way is a genuinely clean setup. Because the applications come straight from the delivery servers, there are no repackaged files and no components someone stripped out. The tool handles the configuration file, the architecture choice and the language selection, then applies activation once the install completes, so the applications behave as a fully licensed install without prompting for an account or a subscription.
It is the right choice when you want the newest office build and have a connection to pull it, rather than a fixed offline image. Because it uses click to run, the applications sit in the standard virtualised layout, updates can be paused, and the same tool can repair or remove the install later. This package is the current installer with the configuration presets and activation step included.
What it does
Feature breakdown
Installs from source
Pulls the current click to run office build directly from the delivery servers, so the applications are clean and up to date.
Full professional application set
Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access, Publisher and OneNote, selectable before the download starts.
Small footprint installer
The tool itself is tiny. Only the applications you choose are downloaded, so the transfer matches your selection.
Configuration presets
Architecture, language and application subset handled through the installer rather than a hand written configuration file.
Activation applied after install
The licensing step runs once setup completes, so the applications never prompt for an account.
Repair and remove built in
The same tool repairs or removes the install later through the standard click to run path.

Release notes
From whoever packed it
- This needs a connection to install because it pulls the applications from source. It is not an offline package.
- Pause updates after installing so a servicing update does not reset the activation state.
- A subscription install and this install cannot coexist. Remove one before installing the other.
