About this release
Overview
WPS Office covers the three things an office machine actually needs: a word processor, a spreadsheet application and a presentation tool. All three read and write the formats you are handed by clients and colleagues, which in practice means DOC, DOCX, XLS, XLSX, PPT and PPTX round trip without the layout falling apart, and ODF documents open cleanly when someone sends one over. Fonts, margins, styles, headers, footnotes and track changes all survive the trip in both directions, so a document edited here and sent back does not arrive looking rearranged.
The interface will feel immediately familiar to anyone who has used a ribbon based suite, but the standout structural difference is tabs. Every open document lives in one window as a tab rather than spawning its own instance, which sounds minor until you are cross-referencing eight spreadsheets and a report. Tabs can be dragged out into their own window when you want two documents side by side on separate monitors, and dragged back in when you are done.
The suite includes a proper PDF module rather than a print-to-PDF afterthought. It opens PDFs for reading with a page thumbnail rail and annotation tools, converts PDF back into an editable document with the table structure preserved, merges and splits files, and exports any document in the suite straight to PDF with bookmarks generated from the heading structure. This build is the full desktop release with the premium features unlocked, no advertising panel and no upgrade nagging.

Writer with full formatting compatibility
Styles, multilevel lists, section breaks, mail merge, footnotes, endnotes, cross-references and a table of contents that rebuilds on demand. Track changes and comments interoperate with the documents your reviewers send back.
Spreadsheets with the formula set you expect
Over three hundred functions including lookup, statistical, financial, text and date families, pivot tables, conditional formatting, data validation, filters and charting. Large sheets scroll without the grid tearing.
Presentation with animation and presenter view
Slide masters, transitions, object animation timelines, speaker notes and a dual screen presenter mode showing notes and the next slide while the audience sees only the deck.
Integrated PDF tools
Read, annotate, highlight, merge, split, reorder, extract pages and convert PDF back to editable text with tables kept as tables rather than flattened into loose lines.
Tabbed single window workspace
Every document, sheet and deck opens as a tab in one window. Drag a tab out to a second monitor when you need a comparison, drag it back when you are finished.
Template library and document repair
A large bundled set of report, invoice, budget and deck templates, plus a repair pass that recovers text and tables out of documents that other applications refuse to open.

Installation
Follow these in order
- Extract the archive to a folder on a drive with a couple of gigabytes free.
- Pause real time protection while the activation component runs.
- Run the setup executable as administrator and choose your interface language.
- Decline the file association prompt if you want to keep another suite as default.
- Let setup finish and close it rather than launching from the last screen.
- Open Writer once, confirm the premium panel is absent, then restore protection.
Release notes
From whoever packed it
- The advertising component and the cloud sign-in panel are removed from this build. Nothing runs at startup.
- Installs alongside other office suites without conflict. File associations are opt-in during setup.
- The bundled template pack is included offline rather than downloaded on first use.

Answered before you ask
- Will documents open correctly in other suites?
- Yes. The default save format is set to the widely used formats rather than a house format, so anything you write here opens elsewhere unchanged.
- Does it need a connection?
- No. Every feature including the template library and the PDF module works offline.
- Can I turn off the tabbed window?
- Yes. There is a preference to open each document in its own window if you prefer the traditional behaviour.
