About this release
Overview
AIDA64 tells you exactly what is inside a machine and how it is behaving. The hardware detection database is unusually deep: it identifies the specific processor stepping, the memory module manufacturer and timings, the motherboard revision, the exact display adapter and its firmware, the drive model and its health data, and the peripherals attached, down to a level of detail that the operating system's own tools do not reach.
The sensor monitoring is the other half of what people use it for. Temperatures, voltages, fan speeds, clock rates, power draw and utilisation across the processor, the display adapter, the drives and the motherboard, sampled continuously and graphed. Readings can be logged to a file, displayed on an external panel or a secondary display, or set to raise an alert when a threshold is crossed, which is how a thermal problem gets caught before it becomes a failure.
Stability testing runs synthetic loads on the processor, memory, cache, drives and display adapter individually or together, with sensor readings graphed alongside so a throttling or instability event is visible as it happens. The benchmark set covers memory bandwidth and latency, processor arithmetic and compression, and drive throughput, with reference results to compare against. The Business and Network Audit editions add remote inventory across a network, software licence auditing and change reporting, and all four editions are present in this archive.

Installation
Follow these in order
- Extract the archive and choose which edition you need, all four are included.
- Pause real time protection while the activation component runs.
- Run setup as administrator, or use the portable build if you prefer no installation.
- Allow the low level access driver when prompted, sensor readings do not work without it.
- Open the application and let the first hardware detection pass complete.
- Configure sensor logging or alerts if you need them, then restore protection.
Release notes
From whoever packed it
- Portable builds of each edition are included for running from a stick on machines you cannot install to.
- Sensor readings need the low level driver. Blocking it leaves you with hardware identification only.
- Run stability tests with adequate cooling and keep an eye on the temperature graph. It will push hardware to its limits by design.

- Which edition should I use?
- Extreme for a single machine, Engineer for technician work, Business and Network Audit for inventory across a network. All four are in the archive.
- Can it run without installing?
- Yes. Portable builds are included, though the low level driver still needs administrator rights for sensor access.
- Is the stability test safe?
- It applies maximum sustained load deliberately. On adequately cooled hardware that is fine. On a machine with a cooling problem it will find it quickly.
