About this release
Overview
This is the full AutoCAD drafting environment with the mechanical toolset included. Everything you know from the base application is here without change: the command line, the same DWG format, layers, blocks, external references, layouts, paper space and plotting all behave identically. What sits on top is roughly seven hundred thousand standard parts and a set of engineering calculation and annotation commands aimed squarely at machine design.
The standard parts libraries cover the international and regional standards that manufacturing drawings actually cite, including ISO, ANSI, DIN, JIS, BSI and GB. Screws, nuts, washers, bolts, pins, rivets, bearings, seals, shafts and structural steel sections are inserted by specifying size and standard rather than drawn. Because the parts carry data rather than being dumb geometry, the bill of material is generated from the drawing and stays synchronised when a component is swapped.
Beyond parts, the toolset adds mechanical dimensioning that follows drafting standards without manual formatting, automatic hole and shaft fit calculation with tolerance lookup, chain and belt generators, cam design, spring calculation, and finite element style stress analysis for basic shaft and beam cases. Layer management is standards-driven, so a drawing produced by one engineer and opened by another has its layers named and coloured the same way without anyone having to negotiate.

Standard parts libraries
Hundreds of thousands of components across ISO, ANSI, DIN, JIS, BSI and GB. Insert by size and standard, and the geometry, layer assignment and part data all arrive together.
Automatic bill of material
Part lists generated from the drawing content, with balloons that renumber as items are added or removed and a table that updates when a component is replaced.
Standards-based dimensioning
Dimension styles, fits, tolerances and surface texture symbols that follow the selected drafting standard without manual formatting on each annotation.
Machine element generators
Shafts, chains, belts, cams and springs generated from engineering input, with the calculation results available as a report alongside the geometry.
Structural steel and profile library
Standard sections inserted at any orientation with correct geometry and section data, and profiles trimmed and joined by dedicated commands rather than manual editing.
Standards-driven layer management
Layer naming, colour and line type assigned automatically according to the drawing standard, so drawings from different engineers stay consistent across a project.

Installation
Follow these in order
- Take the machine off the network before running setup.
- Extract the archive to a drive with at least 20 GB free.
- Disable real time protection for the whole installation.
- Run setup as administrator and select the languages and content libraries you want.
- Let it finish and close the installer without launching from the final screen.
- Start the application once so the parts libraries index, then restore protection.
Release notes
From whoever packed it
- The desktop licensing service and the reporting component are removed. Nothing runs in the background.
- Content libraries are large. Deselect the standards you will never cite to save several gigabytes.
- Drawings produced here open in the base application, though the mechanical objects appear as ordinary geometry there.

Answered before you ask
- Is this a separate program from AutoCAD?
- It is the same application with the mechanical toolset enabled. Drawings are ordinary DWG files.
- Can I install it next to plain AutoCAD?
- You can, but there is no reason to. This build includes everything the base application does.
- Do the parts libraries need a connection?
- No. All content is installed locally and indexed on first launch.
