About this release
Overview
CLO works the way a garment is actually made rather than the way a 3D model is usually built. You draw the flat sewing pattern, the same panels a tailor would cut, arrange them around a virtual body, and stitch the seams. Then the cloth simulation takes over and drapes the garment as real fabric would, with the weight, stretch and drape of the material you assigned. What you see is not a sculpted approximation of clothing, it is a simulation of that exact pattern sewn together.
That approach is why the fashion industry adopted it. Because the model is built from the real pattern, a fit problem seen on screen is a real fit problem, and the fix, letting out a seam, adding ease, changing a dart, is made on the pattern and immediately re-simulated. A garment can go through many fitting revisions in a day without cutting a single sample, which collapses the sample cycle that traditionally takes weeks and shipping between a designer and a factory.
The material and presentation side is fully developed. Fabrics carry physical properties for the simulation and surface properties for rendering, so a stiff denim and a fluid silk behave and look correctly different. Trims, topstitching, buttons and prints are placed on the garment, the fit is checked against a graded set of body sizes, and the result is rendered for a lookbook or handed to production with the pattern and the specification together.

Installation
Follow these in order
- Go offline before starting.
- Extract the archive to a local drive.
- Disable real time protection.
- Run the installer and complete setup.
- Apply the included licensing configuration when prompted.
- Launch CLO, confirm the full version, then re-enable protection.
Release notes
From whoever packed it
- Block the licensing component's outbound access after install.
- Fabric behaviour is only as right as the material properties. Start from a close preset and tune from there.
- Project files reference textures and trims by path. Pack the project before moving or archiving it.
