About this release
Overview
The built in disk management tool in Windows can create, delete and format, and that is roughly where it stops. It will not move a partition, it will not extend a volume when the free space is on the wrong side of it, it will not convert a disk between partition schemes with data on it, and it certainly will not copy an installed system onto a different drive. All of those are ordinary jobs, and all of them are what this tool exists for.
The one people install it for is system migration. Point it at the current system drive and a new solid state drive, choose whether to copy everything or just the system partitions, and it clones with the boot configuration adjusted so the new drive starts on its own. That turns a drive upgrade from a weekend of reinstalling into an hour of copying, with the old drive left intact as a fallback until you are confident.
Around that sit the rest of the operations: resize and move with data in place, merge and split, convert between the two partition table schemes without wiping, convert a file system between the common types, change cluster size, rebuild a damaged master boot record, wipe a disk to a chosen standard, and analyse what is consuming space with a graphical breakdown. The pro ultimate tier adds the partition and file recovery module and the bootable rescue media builder for a machine that no longer starts.

Installation
Follow these in order
- Back up anything important before touching partitions. Every tool in this category can lose data if power is interrupted.
- Extract the archive.
- Disable real time protection while the licence step runs.
- Run the installer as administrator.
- Apply the included licence component before first launch.
- Open the application, confirm the ultimate tier, then build the rescue media before you need it.
Release notes
From whoever packed it
- Operations on the system volume queue until a reboot and run outside Windows. Do not interrupt that stage.
- Build the bootable rescue stick while the machine still works. Building it afterwards is not an option.
- Keep the machine on mains power during any resize or move. A power loss mid operation is how volumes are lost.
