About this release

Overview

Phones are where most people keep everything and back up nothing. This suite exists for the aftermath: a deleted photo album, a conversation history wiped by a failed update, a handset stuck in a boot loop, a device locked with a forgotten code, or the simple job of moving a decade of accumulated material from one phone to a new one on a different operating system entirely.

The recovery module scans the connected device or an existing backup for recoverable material and previews it before restoring, so you see what is actually retrievable rather than restoring blind. It covers photos, video, messages, call history, contacts, notes and application data where the platform permits. Recovery from a backup file is often the better path, because it does not depend on the deleted data still sitting unoverwritten on the device.

Around it sit the other modules. Phone transfer moves contacts, messages, photos, music and video between two connected handsets in one pass regardless of platform. Backup and restore produces a full local backup you control on your own disk, with selective restore rather than an all or nothing image. System repair fixes a device stuck in a boot loop or recovery mode without wiping it. Screen unlock removes a lock on a device you own, and the data eraser wipes a handset permanently before it is sold.

What it does

Feature breakdown

Data recovery with preview

Scan a connected device or an existing backup and preview exactly what is recoverable before restoring anything.

Cross platform phone transfer

Move contacts, messages, photos, music and video between two connected handsets in one pass, including across different operating systems.

Local backup and selective restore

Produce a full backup on your own disk and restore individual categories from it rather than reimaging the whole device.

System repair

Recover a handset stuck in a boot loop, recovery mode or a failed update, in most cases without erasing the user data.

Screen unlock

Remove a forgotten lock code from a device you own, with a clear warning about what the process erases.

Permanent data erasure

Wipe a handset beyond recovery before selling or passing it on, rather than relying on a factory reset alone.

Changed in this build

Version 10.7.2.324

  • Support added for recent handset models and current operating system releases on both platforms.
  • Recovery scan speed improved on devices with very large photo libraries.
  • Transfer module now handles message threads with attachments more reliably across platforms.
  • System repair firmware handling rewritten for faster download and verification.
  • Backup files now compress considerably smaller without losing selective restore capability.

Installation

Follow these in order

  1. Install the manufacturer device drivers and the desktop sync software for your platform first.
  2. Extract the archive.
  3. Disable real time protection while the licence step runs.
  4. Run the installer as administrator.
  5. Apply the included licence component before launching the application.
  6. Connect the handset with a data capable cable, authorise the connection on the phone, then run the module you need.
Expect a detection. Anything that changes how a program checks its licence is classified as a risk tool by every scanning engine, which is why the steps ask you to pause protection. If that is not something you want to do, this is not the right download for you.

Release notes

From whoever packed it

  • Use a proper data cable. A charge only cable connects power and nothing else, and this is the most common reason a device is not detected.
  • Stop using the phone the moment something is deleted. Continued use overwrites the recoverable data.
  • Back up before running system repair or unlock. Both can erase depending on the device state.

Questions about this release

Answered before you ask

Does recovery always work?
No. It depends on whether the deleted data has been overwritten. Recovering from a backup file is far more reliable.
Does it need the phone to be unlocked?
For most modules yes, the device has to be unlocked and the connection authorised. The unlock module is the exception.
Can it transfer between the two platforms?
Yes, cross platform transfer of contacts, messages and media is one of the main modules.
